On the Beach RV Park

The location, staff, and community are all fantastic! There's always something to do in Port A and with On The Beach. John and Donna, the managers, are very involved and create a welcoming atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. The ocean is literally just 100 steps from my door.

This is a great place to camp, very short walk to the beach, with an amazing staff. Check-in was fast and easy and we were martialed to our pull through spot by a very friendly staff member. Although we spent most of our time on the beach, they had a very interesting calendar of activities, such as bingo, donuts and coffee, a night at Bernie’s. Several guests took advantage of the on site dog park. The nights were nice & quiet. We will definitely be back.

I've been watching this park for years, never actually making a visit. We decided to make a last minute stay and it was absolutely perfect. Our spot was right at the edge of the dunes and was beautiful. Constant breeze always made it nice for sitting outside and cooking. We were able to walk the dog on the beach, as we were so close every morning and evening. On our last morning there a cold front came in. As I was walking down the private road over the dune to the beach, it felt like I was in a movie scene from an east coast movie like "Message in a Bottle". Staff here were super relaxed adding to the beach vibe. This is a must stay park.

We had such a wonderful time at On The Beach RV Park in Port Aransas, Texas! The location truly can’t be beat — you’re just steps away from the sand and the sound of the ocean. Waking up to those beautiful sunrises and falling asleep to the waves was absolutely perfect. The park is clean, well-maintained, and very peaceful. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and they made sure we had everything we needed. The sites were easy to get in and out of, and the hookups worked great. It’s also close to great restaurants, shops, and all the fun Port Aransas has to offer. Whether you’re looking to relax on the beach, fish, or just enjoy the island vibe, this is the place to stay. We can’t wait to come back — definitely one of our favorite RV parks ever!

After our generator stopped working overnight in a storm, we parked here the next 2 nights of our trip. This spot was conveniently next to the entrance/exit with full hookups, and you could see the water. There is a deck with a picnic table with this site. It is a little weird to back into. Odd angle and a little high but they help you get situated into whatever site you get. You could walk to the beach. There was a lot of traffic and loud music going up and down the street all night. That is just part of it and didn't keep me awake. The people who run this place are super nice and make sure your stay is enjoyable. We went the last week of September and were so happy to be able to plug in since the temps were upper 90's. I highly recommend On the Beach RV Park if you need a place for your rig.
