Family oriented and has two pools for those who just want to relax and enjoy swimming and tanning without screaming children. Kids pool has supervision every weekend. Dances every second Saturday along with bingo and other activities. Not to mention the beautiful tall trees. This campground has a lot for everyone, whether you like being in a wooded setting or out in the open field. Plus close to all amenities and a 5 min drive to valley drive in.

This place is one of the nicest campgrounds in North America. The pine forest there is well maintained and beautiful to walk through during a stay there. It's a family run business that has been operating since the late fifties I think and the owners are very accommodating to reasonable requests and run a tight ship. My family and I enjoyed a visit so much that we put a permanent seasonal trailer in there. Your kids will love this place.

We had a fantastic weekend. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful as this was our second camping trip with our trailer. Very clean area. We will definitely go back to Sherwood Forrest 😁😁😁

Have been coming here for years with family. Both my mother and in laws are seasonal campers so we have spent many a weekend here over the years. Very family friendly with two pools, one supervised just for kids, with a quieter pool which is adults only. Plenty of activities planned every weekend for families. Also there are bingo and crib games played at the common area called the Blue Boar. My only issue with the place is how packed the trailers are; I would prefer more space between them personally but I don't own a trailer myself.

I loved the trees and the feel of the place. It was clean. However, I didn't find it too kid friendly with small playgrounds and the pool/ office so far away from the campsites with the narrow roads. With two young kids (1 and 6 years), I probably won't return until they are older. I also wasn't impressed with the golf carts and buggies zooming through the campground and trails at 11pm :( ... Not the best situation with kids trying to sleep.
