Popped in for a night and stayed another! Quiet, well maintained grounds and spacious slab sites for vans. Owners are super freindly laid-back people Pet friendly as well Highly reccommend if you're in this neck of the woods! Now if you'll excuse me I'm off for a dip in the crystal clear pool! Cheers
Husband, myself and & children stayed on one their tents sites - which are a really good size - you're not directly beside other campers & you don't feel squashed (as is the occurrence of other parks). I felt the park was safe & secure (we have young kids). In relation to activities, my older kids had a great time playing chess (on the giant chess board) & we all enjoyed swimming (the pool is a great size for children who are learning to swim or not strong swimmers) & it was wonderful down time to reconnect as a family. I felt the owners genuinely cared about making sure my family & I had everything we needed. They were very welcoming & hospitable. Bathrooms were clean & tidy.
This park is a credit to the manager and his family. Our 2 bedroom villa was perfect, ticked all of our boxes. Full size fridge, great aircon, large balcony and more kitchen appliances than you'll need! Lots of trees, giving shade, manicured lawns and an awesome pool. Definately worth 5 stars.
We had such a great time despite the 40 degree temps. Grass cut, big wide van spaces and extremely friendly owners. He shared the plans to upgrade the park. Whilst the shower block looks old. It is tremendously cleans and powerful Showers. Even provide bath mats which I have never seen in a park before. Great camp kitchen with easy to use BBQ’s and cooking and cleaning tools provided. Easy to recommend and. We will be returning !
We stayed at Forbes Holiday Park for one night while passing through and were really impressed. It’s a family-owned and run park that’s beautifully green and extremely well maintained. The pool was immaculate and such a pleasure to swim in. Joel, the owner, was lovely to chat with and made us feel very welcome. The kids absolutely loved patting the resident goats and chickens, and we all enjoyed a few games of giant chess. The amenities were clean and well maintained as well. A great stopover for families — we’d happily stay again.
