Lazy J Campground

Great place to camp! Nice people and good scenery. Even had tiny ponies and chickens on the grounds. I would recommend getting a site on the river, it was very peaceful. Also, if you are planning on hammock camping, just know you cannot hang hammocks up.

The French Broad River completely untainted by any treatment plants I stumbled upon this beautiful property. I was exploring the river I was totally trespassing. The owner was kind and me to stay in fish I will definitely be back to Camp here as soon as I get my ishtogether

I love this campground! Very nostalgic of a 70's campground. Camped right next to the French Broad River (sounded amazing sleeping next to the river). The camp host was awesome and the bathrooms were very clean with a warm shower! Couldn't ask for more, especially with there reasonable rates.

Fantastic little campground. I like that there’s a lot of trees and bushes between the sites which makes them feel more secluded. Staff is very friendly and everything is very clean. Will be back this summer!

My family and I camped here a little over a year ago, and we had a blast. The campsites were super affordable. We had a nice shaded spot with beautiful trees and really neat mushrooms around the site. The campground is small and quaint, but so pretty. Our favorite part was the river. It is so much fun to hang out down there. We seen some cool critters by the river. Some fishing spiders and even a salamander. I would love to camp here again when we visit this area.
