We are in our second year as permanent campers and have a park home on Clear lake. We are having a great time here . Everyone is friendly. We enjoy watching kids fishing with their parents on the pier and kayaking. Our grandkids love the golf cart rides and the pool. And everything they can do here. They plan a nice variety of activities for the kids and the adults on the weekend. We are creating some really awesome memories with our family here .

Bathrooms/Shower Houses and Laundry facilities are immaculate. The location is not too close but not too far from three+ major Cities: Chicago, Madison, Milwaukee and Rockford to name a few for a quick getaway or extended stay. Booking is a breeze, the Staff is exceptionally knowledgeable, insanely helpful and pleasant at all times. Their high hospitality standard is held in every department, from the Office, General Store, Groundskeepers, Maintenance and Security/Patrol Employees. We have been permanent campers at Blackhawk for over 20 yrs. We first came to keep the kids outside and busy during the summer. Now our kids are grown we still enjoy staying all summer and enjoying a quieter life style during the week then the fun of a busy weekend. The people are like family. Everyone waves says good morning or good afternoon. The employees are the absolute best always there to help. I wouldn't spend my summer anywhere else

We love it at Blackhawk! As seasonal campers with a permanent spot, we have made great friendships! My grandkids love being there riding bikes, playing basketball, doing crafts, watching movies, fishing, swimming in the pool, enjoying lake life! Blackhawk has a wonderful playground. Staff is friendly and they try hard to plan actuvies for everyone! Its a great place and is our beautiful escape from working life. We have such a great sense of calm away from the city!! Always a yummy food truck on weekends. Office is stocked with all the goodies!

This was our 4th time coming here, and it was the absolute best. Seems like they have new management now, and let me tell you they were on top of everything. Our ac had a bit of an issue, and Ron came during his time off and made sure we were taken care of. They had activities where pretty much the whole campground participated on. The kids absolutely enjoyed all that was offered for them. Again Ron and the staff were all great and very attentive. Already looking forward to coming back next year.
