This was a nice quiet campground. I visited the week of Thanksgiving so not very many people were there. The campsites on the river are grown up so you can't see the river from the campsite. The bathrooms were not clean and we ran out of hot water while taking a shower. Lady in the trading Post was very nice and I enjoyed talking to her. Other than that I did not see any other staff. Saturday night there were people off the property shooting guns the police did ride through the campground after we heard that. So it looks like they were looking out for us.

Very interesting little spot where a dam.Once it's listed in old lock now slips along the river. It was quite and had a nice view.Looks like a good place for fishing for spending. The day there were good playgrounds for children and a small store on location.

watch out for spider webs. parking is $2 the trails here are very nice and pretty simple, tho they were hard to find. it would be helpful if they had more signs. the trails have a lookout to look over the water it was beautiful. just watch out for webs. I felt like every 5 feet I went, was another web, maybe I just had bad luck, just be careful and bring hiking shoes!

Its good for a quick stay or if you bring a boat for fishing. No signs for where to check in, where camping is or right of way for that matter. Road to the camping spots go up and down, but the spots themselves are almost level. First sites are all along the camping entry road and river. If there's traffic, you'll here it. The rear spots are all covered by trees, which I suppose could be good or bad depending on the weather. Bathrooms pretty rough. Looked and felt unkept. Usually I'll use the bathhouse instead of the RV, but not this time. Employees friendly. Email reservation said the gate had a code, but the gate was open 24hrs, it looked like a manual gate and I did not see any code device present. I believe the lower number sites have no sewer, the upper ones, above the bathhouse all appeared to, but you'll want to confirm.

Stayed over Christmas holiday. The area itself is very nice the walking trails are great for your furry Friends. The sites are spacious but the trees are plenty. There are no signs to should you what way to go. This would be helpful at 10pm. Other then that happy with the site we have. Nice and quiet here. Wish they would mark the drive with arrows or a sign posted on a tree.
