We stayed at this campsite for the long weekend. Our second time. We have traveled with our RV throughout the US and consider this one of the top 5 campsites out of over 100 we have visited. Families with children had a blast with all the Halloween festivities. They have one of the nicest recreational areas we have seen along with magnificent pools. The owner helped us pick out our site as we arrived late Thursday night. Very helpful. One disappointment today was we had hurricane like weather (Nor’easter)and did not have a break from torrential rain and high winds until 10:30. We received a phone call from the front desk (11:20)asking if we checked out yet and after explaining that we were late because of the storm she reminded us that check out was at 11 and they have someone for our site checking in early. This was disappointing that she was more worried about those coming in and not for our safety. From 11:30 until 11:50 we saw 8 to 10 others leaving late most likely because of the unsafe weather prior to 10:30. She lacked compassion and understanding but would not let this one incident or person deter anyone from staying there because we watched the many other staff all weekend help to make many have an enjoyable holiday visit while making memories.
Rented one of the cabins for the weekend. Clean and comfortable. The only thing we would do different next time would to bring an extra mattress topper. Need were little firmer then we liked, but that's us. Best moccasin and we walked around the park and week go back with our camper next season. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful.
How disappointing! 👎 We have a new 38 foot motor coach. Sun Corporate markets the property as “Coach Friendly”… We purchased the Glamping site, due to our size. Only one way in, and out! You have to drive through 100 different camp sites to exit the property! The campground was so tight, that all are packed in like sardines . There were 40 - plus Latinos, staying on two sites behind us. They overwhelmed the rest of the campers, and staff did nothing to quiet them. This is our 23rd stop on an East Coast adventure to Nova Scotia. Sadly, it is the lowest rated of all, thus far; unfortunate, as the location is fantastic and the Falmouth area has so much to offer!!!
Family oriented campground that was very active. Lots of activities for the kids. The sites were a bit close together and the parking made the roads seem really tight. Evenings were quiet so we enjoyed that a lot. Good location on The Cape with all conveniences nearby.
This was our third time staying at Sun Retreats Cape Cod in East Falmouth, and once again, it didn’t disappoint! We came as a group of three families, and everything—from the clean facilities to the well-maintained sites—made our stay smooth and enjoyable. The recreation space is truly the highlight. The kids (and adults!) had so much fun, and it’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought into making it family-friendly and engaging for all ages. We did have a single incident with a staff member who was verbally aggressive, which was unexpected and out of character for what we’ve experienced in the past. However, it didn’t take away from the overall experience, and we’re hopeful it was an isolated situation. We’ll definitely be coming back—this place continues to be one of our favorite family getaway spots on the Cape!
