Great campground. The ladies in the booth were very nice, funny, and helpful. Nice area. Will stop here in the future.
I want to commend Linda at the check in booth for helping me out with problems I was having on the Rec.gov site modifying my reservation. She had just closed the door to leave when I approached her with my confusion. Without hesitation, Linda unlocked the door & solved my problem. The world needs more people like her. Thanks so much!
This was a very pretty campground . Clean bathrooms and showers friendly staff. Had a bike trail that went through the perimeter and led to a beautiful view of waterfront. Deer are active during the day throughout the park. We road the trails and also up to top of damn to memorial for those who lost their lives during the making of the damn. Very informative display. Great two day stay highly recommend
This is a very nice campground, nice size sites. We had electric site there are no full hook up sites. There is water available to fill your rv. There are shower houses and vault toilets. Lots of paved walking trails. Next to Fort Peck Dam. Not real close to any stores or gas stations. Maybe 15 miles to the closest store or station. About 30 miles away from the Red Bottom Pow Wow.
A very pleasant overnight stay. I really like these corp of engineer campgrounds. They usually are not so crowded, sites are spaced apart, the price is great, and it is a laid back atmosphere. This park met all that. If there is a down side, they only have 30 amp sites. My wife is a 50 amp girl!! 😂. It was hot and we had to juggle air conditioners.
