Buffalo County Fairgrounds
About
There is a dump station for RVs on the right-hand side, 200 feet into the main entry. You can rinse your RV at this station, but for drinking water, there is a spigot on the right-hand side just after the entrance, 50 feet into the grass. Both potable (drinkable) water and non-potable water for rinsing are available. The location of this dump station is at I-80 Exit 272, on the northeast side of town, near N Avenue & 36 Street.

Our President and lead instructor went to learn horse handling techniques from Buck Branamen. Amazing leader in the equine world
Camping here is so easy and great. New electric outlets, excellent bathrooms and showers, and if you want to pay a little bit more you can even play pickle ball! This is by fair the best fairground camping we have done, and if you are passing through Kearney, it is an excellent choice.
Thank you Buffalo County Fairgrounds! This makes our third time stopping here on our way back to Virginia. Always a safe layover with a dump station and water nearby. 50 and 30 amp service to accommodate your preference. All sites are level! $20 fee and the drop box is located on the wall by the office door. Cash or check, just drop it in the box. Can't get any easier than that. 6-30-25. Many thanks. 😊
I understand clear bag policies are to be expected these days, and i support it, but please be more clear about the rules. Your website says diaper bags not allowed, and the same rules page was printed and hung at the entrance to the building that also says diaper bags not allowed, so we moved our diaper bag contents into a clear bag, just to watch other families be allowed with diaper bags at the door. Super annoying.
The Kearney Toy Show that is held at the fairgrounds is excellent!!! You definitely need to come out and experience it for yourself!!!
