Forest Grove is a very charming RV Park. In all our travels I think it has a more mature landscape setting than most along with fabulous concrete pads! The individual sites are larger than many and have an accompanying picnic table as well as vehicle parking pad. The amenities building which appears shabby chic on the exterior has been redone completely on the inside to include bathrooms with showers and 4 sets of w/d’s which anyone can enjoy but! Particularly the true blue campers along with partaking in self-serve coffee😁I love that it loops around completely because I’m a daily walker. The location is great as the frontage is located on Beal which is a MAJOR road for navigating FWB! Turn left out of the park and in less than 10 mins you’re at Eglin Prkwy (another MAJOR thoroughfare in FWB), Eglin AFB or the airport. If you turn right onto Beal it’ll take you past Walmart in about 5 mins or stay the course and it’ll take you all the way to Hwy 98 (Miracle Strip Prkwy) which runs adjacent to the beach, E/W heading to either Destin or Pensacola. Terrific WiFi for you streamers out there as well😊And lastly, a big shoutout to Wayne who stopped by to visit during our stay while doing some park maintenance. He’s a gem and they embody true pride of ownership in their parks! (Cozy Corner sister park😉) We’ll surely be returning, thanks much y’all for a wonderful stay!
We truly enjoyed our recent stay at this park. We have stayed at the sister park, Cozy Corners several times in the past and really enjoyed it also. We love the larger sites, pull thru, extra parking, trees and security of Forest Grove. Wayne stopped by to visit and was extremely pleasant. The park is located close to everything and beaches are a short drive away. The park was well maintained and fellow campers were very courteous. We will be back.
You're right in Fort Walton Beach, so stores and restaurants are close by. You do hear SOME road noise, but not bad at all. And Eglin is nearby so you get to see some jets flying around, which is very cool. But they don't fly every day or at night that we've noticed. The camp hosts are very nice people and take good care of the grounds. Plenty of trees for people who like trees, and a few sites where you can still use Starlink if needed, based on a little less tree cover. Only 15 minutes to the beach from here. Easy day trip to go see Fort Pickens. Plenty to do in the area. We used the local air port to send Nana to see the grand kids, and it is soooo handy to have an airport 13 minutes away! And the round trip to Omaha was only $204, which shocked us. Maybe we got lucky. We did carefully choose the travel days to keep cost down. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Forest Grove RV Park in a Motorhome.
Clean spacious RV spots. Each spot has two parking spots for vehicles. Convenient laundry and restrooms at site 32. Three restrooms all with shower, sink, and toilet. Quiet place to stay. The only issues we had were people... taking long showers and running the hot water out in the bathhouse or leaving their laundry in the washers or dryers for hours. I'd recommend they look into an on demand water heater and in their park rules suggest people be courteous of other campers and not leave their laundry in washers and dryers.
We have stayed at Forest Grove on multiple occasions. We love it so much we wouldn't stay anywhere else. The park is GATED at night, Full video surveillance, Large Spacious Laundry room, 2 bathrooms with showers, large dog park, and the grass is always cut. Plenty of Pet stations, 2 large dumpsters. The HOST is always friendly. WiFi, is the best we have had at any park.
