Great location. If you’re staying for the night or for a year(you will get kicked out for SEC Men’s baseball tournament but welcomed back when it’s over) it’s been great. The Finley center is open to camper for the walking track and restroom but only specified hours and not available during certain events.
Always becareful whom u let work on RV's folks or end up like these pics here, sad sad all propane systems need regulators, but rather put there names on signs not there work!! Just be cautious all rv people and look into whom u use and do research
Enforcement of parking, dog waste and other common courtesies appears to be non-existent. Folks seem to be allowed to just park in the drive lanes, making it very difficult for some RVs to pull in/out or even drive by. The dog waste here can get disgusting as it starts to build up again after the annual pre-SEC tourney clean-up. We continue to stay due to the location and lack of other nearby options, but it definitely appears to lack simple onsite oversite. On several occasions, we've even pulled in after 3 or 4pm only to find someone parked in our reserved spot. The front desk of the sports complex will only reassign you. Little to no action seems to be taken to resolve the actual issue. So in short, it's a very convenient campground, but it lacks basic oversite.
I had a wonderful experience at Hoover Met RV Park! The park is clean, well-maintained, and offers sites with full hookups. Very quiet and other guests are super friendly! Also love that it is dog friendly! The location is fantastic, close to local attractions and outdoor activities. I highly recommend Hoover Met RV Park!
This RV park looks to be well maintained but when you’re actually in it, it’s not. There’s no dog park so naturally pet owners are walking their dogs around the park. Pet waste canisters and bags are provided yet for some reason, there’s poop all over the place. There’s also way more debris and garbage around than you’d expect. You’d think with a fully paved lot it would be level. Think again. My main issue with this place is there’s no posted speed limit so people fly through here; staff, residents, everyone. I’m relieved my kids aren’t with us as it wouldn’t be a safe place for them to ride their bikes or walk to the park that’s onsite. How do you offer 170 full hook up sites and not offer laundry facilities? That’s enough of the bad; the good news is that the park is quiet. You have access to the Finley center although it was closed for events most of the duration of our stay. The lots are all pull through so it’s easy to get in and out. This is the first park where the wifi has actually worked so that was nice.
