Amy the host is a delightful source of information. The site is much cleaner than most BLM camping with free hot springs tubs and shower! No soap.
It's an ideal place to relax and be in harmony with the desert landscape. Loud music is not permitted, nor are ATVs, dirt bikes, or off-road vehicles allowed within the campground area. The hot springs area is small, accommodating no more than 8 people at a time; you will need to share the space and be respectful of others. There is a large camping area where you can park your RV, van, or trailer, but you must be self-sufficient, as there is no electricity, running water, or sewage hookups. A few kilometers to the east, you'll find trails and roads where you can ride your motorcycles and ATVs, and in the same direction, also to the east, you'll find a restaurant called Duners Diner where you can eat and get coffee.
There's PLENTY of areas to park your rig, and quite a few where there is shade. Plenty of sunny spots if you need that for solar. FAIRLY LEVEL in many areas. Dumpsters are by the entrance. Rates are 160/ 6+ month season, or 40/14 days. ACROSS THE STREET ATE THE HOT SPRINGS, which makes this a truly exceptional place to stay over... We stayed 4days, just loved it. ππππ
Very nice little spot. Water was 122 coming out of the pipe but in the pools about 108 and less when you go to the other pools. Very nice, lots of older people to talk too.
BEAUTIFUL!! Great private, large places to park. And even if you park all the way at the end, itβs a beautiful walk to the amazing hot springs! I canβt believe I just found this place!! Iβll definitely be back!
