What a great day. We have had a fun filled day with a great burger dinner served at the park, followed up by s'mores at the bonfire, then fire works show. Can't wait to see the fun tomorrow will bring.

Have used this campground a couple times before but had better spots before. This time we were put in a newer area that is all gravel and no grass for the dogs. Spots are narrow with little room to maneuver and relax. Had I been put in a better location, would have warranted 4 or 5 stars as the rest of the campground is great. Hookups worked fine, Staff is friendly and helpful.

My stay at Colorado Heights Campground was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff who were always willing to help with any questions or concerns I had. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains and the surrounding forests. The campsites were well-maintained and provided ample space for my RV and gear. The facilities were clean and well-stocked, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly enjoyed the campfire pit, which was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The hiking trails were also a highlight, with a variety of options for all skill levels. Overall, I highly recommend Colorado Heights Campground for anyone looking for a memorable camping experience in a beautiful location. I can't wait to come back and explore more of what this amazing campground has to offer!

We've been going to this campground for 20+ years. My parents now live here full-time during three summer. The amenities are good and they provide lots of good weekly activities for all ages. The week of July 4th is always a blast here. My only complaint is that a large portion off the staff turns over every year (run mostly by full-timers) which means the quality of the staff can be hit or miss from year to year. Other than that, it's a beautiful campground with great access to the Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, and Denver areas.
