Adelaide Showground Caravan Park

Travelling Aussies 🇦🇺 Surprising to find any caravan accommodation so close to the centre of a capital city, let alone, within easy walking distance to trams and buses 🏆 This park is perfectly located for folks to enjoy Glenelg Beach, the Adelaide Markets, the Showgrounds and the Adelaide City centre Sites are level, generously sized and well spaced. The amenities are new and maintained in pristine condition, and there’s a dump point 👍 The only thing that could possibly have been improved is better spacing of the site utility posts. Some sites may need long connections for power, water and sullage Everything else is perfect Mind you, at $79 per night (March 2026) this is the most expensive showground we’ve stayed in Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great camping ground, close to the city and the perfect spot for a visit of Adelaide. The toilets are clean and modern. The kitchen and BBQ are available. French water is available on the parking bays. Very close to the city (20-30 Mon walk) The only minis: no shadow places. On sunny days it can we very hot

We had a great stay at this caravan park. We had a lovely large grass site. The amenities were nice and clean. Some neighbours did have their bicycle stolen overnight, so this is something to keep in mind. Great central location and would happily stay here again. The only improvements that would be good is to install soap holders in the showers so you don’t have to keep soap on the floor and also the internet signal didn’t quite reach our end of the camp site.

I enjoyed the green grassy area. It's all mostly level and feels open. The amenities are brand new and clean. Did have lots of bike theft while I was there, and would be perfect with a pool.

Honestly, one of the best showground stays you can get, well located within Adelaide! Spots themselves are large and sealed. Amenities are spotless. Facilities great! Lawns are damn near manicured! Honestly one of the best spots I have stayed at. Could not more strongly recommend!!!
