Awful owners/management!!! This park recently flooded and they had ZERO communication with people who stay at the park. People woke up to water at their doors. Rv inn style never once reached out to their residents to encourage them to evacuate or head to one of their other parks. People were left to fend for themselves and scrambling in several feet of water. The citizens of Kalama came together to help people get out. Most of their residents parked across the street and had to sleep with no power or water. And then they had the nerve to post on social media that “they” were able to safely get everyone out. They were NO WHERE TO BE FOUND and had zero involvement. This company makes me sick. Do not support these liars!
If I could give this park a zero star I would. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY. They are liars. I was told to pay for a full month and I would get a refund when I left the park. I left in the middle of the month and NEVER got a refund. The manager said they took back their promise to refund me even after he had email proof they told me to pay this way. I wasn’t the only person they stole money from, it was an issue with other people as well.
The location is convenient. The site was level. Office and restaurant were closed, so we reserved over the phone. Lots of full timers at this park. Someone knocked on our door and asked if they could take our picnic table. The site behind ours had bags and bags of trash piled around the font of their trailer.
Our reserved site was occupied by a crazy lady when we got there and she made it apparent in no uncertain terms that she wasn't moving. The campground dropped the ball on us. Mr. Bruce from the campground came and settled the situation. He was very nice and accommodated us as best as he could. We are 2 disabled grandparents with 5 grandkids aging 2 to 14. We ended up having a pretty good time but I doubt we'll go back. The store had an open sign on the whole time but no staff. Just a locked door. The bathroom we used was "fairly" clean but had mouse turds all over the floor.
A ridiculous 30 day cancellation policy in which you have to pay in full. The rate is the highest I paid during a 4 week road trip. I cancelled within the 30 day period and still have not received a refund 45 days later. I had no response to my refund request for 3 weeks and when I did hear how busy they are processing refunds, it has been another 3 weeks and still no refund. DON'T TRUST THIS PLACE, THEY DON'T HONOR THE REFUND POLICY.
