Really enjoyed my stay while in Christmas Valley for a business trip. The owners are very hands on and incredibly helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Cute older duplex cabin. Close to Christmas Valley Lake. We were fortunate to see hundreds of Canadian Geese in the lake. Later that day they started heading south for the winter. Owners were very accommodating and friendly.

I 100% echo the person who commented, "driving up, you don’t know what you are going to get". The roads off the main Christmas Valley Hwy 5-14 are really rough, HUGE holes/dips. We stayed in the RV park area. We didn't make advance reservations. We pulled up to the office area which looks like something out of a horror movie and has birds nesting in the ceiling. The first door swung open but the 2nd door was locked. Above the sign was a phone number so I called and was informed that it was all reservations online only. So, we drove around the small area and picked a spot! Right away a gentleman walked over and helped us get backed in, leveled up and everything hooked up. He said his name was Freddy and he worked there. I was REALLY impressed with the amount of time and patience he had as it was our first time hooking up with this trailer. While again, we didn't know what we were going to get, it was a nicely taken care of patch of grass in the desert to park our trailer on for 2 nights, with incredibly helpful staff. Big thanks to Freddy! Oh, and really their isn't much difference in spots. Look on Google maps, its the rectangular grass patch between Park Rd and Sage Brush Rd. We ate once for breakfast at Christmas Valley lodge, it was good! The Sagewood Grocery sells liquor, very convenient! The Ranch Hand Bar & Grill was closed down, I was told by the food truck vendors they are in the midst of changing ownership.

When driving up, you aren't sure what you are going to get, But when you open the door to your door, how beautiful. So clean and fresh, comfortable, large enough, great bed and bathroom. We enjoyed our one night stay and would certainly return if our travels take us that way again.

The Lakeside Motel was a very nice place to stay in Christmas Valley. The room was clean and comfortable. It was well appointed with all the amenities you would expect. Very nice patio with chairs to sit and watch the lake. The reservation, check-in and registration processes are all virtual, but seemed to work very well. I would definitely stay here again if I had occasion to be back in Christmas Valley.
