Raysville Campground absolutely the Best because of Matt!!! This employee cares about the people who stay here and will bend over backwards to accommodate the visitors!! Campsite 33 is the Best so far with a beautiful sunset. We stay there every month once a month. It's not to crowded and you have space at your Campsite. Thank you Matt for all you do! Tony Claxton

Campsite 32. A beautiful site over looking the water. We were able to spot 2 eagles that live across the way. The view is stunning! The only downside is getting to the water. It's a steep hill which makes it difficult although my children found a way. The bath house is old but they keep it clean and mopped. Bring your own toiletries and flip flops.

I have reviewed this campground on several occasions but felt it necessary to do it again . First I would love to give 2.5 stars simply because this has been our go to since we started camping 11 years ago. It has always been nice, quiet and most of all clean. Well things change. We noticed when Mcduffie county took over there was more trash along the roadways. Sites not cleaned when we arrived and overall more noise in the campground. This trip out has been the worst to date. When we arrived we found used toilet paper around the edge of the campsite , aluminum cans in fire pit and a grill that had not been cleaned out. A lot of cans and bottles were seen along roads during our walks. I know sometimes host often work other jobs and do major site cleanings on the day or two before the busy weekend but our site was a surprise. This does not necessarily reflect the host but the type of people who are now staying here. Some of the bad behavior seen so far since we have been here. Trash around campsite and in drives, dogs barking and left on leads all night, loud camp setup after quite time hours and this morning walked into a smoked filled bath house. Not sure what changed when Mcduffie county took over , and sure they have more people here than we have seen in the past but it sure gives me second thoughts when looking for a site for a weekend get away. We will start looking at other campground options for weekend getaways close to home after this trip, I hope it improves.

Raysville Campground definitely deserves a 5-star review from me! I call this MY Area 51, and it was my very first camping experience. Despite the rain, I loved my cozy setup. This month, I'm focused on my mental health, and this retreat was just what I needed. Huge thanks to my best friend Ashlie for this optimistic adventure; it was an exhilarating experience! If you haven't tried camping at least once, it's a MUST‼️. A truly humbling and refreshing experience. 🌲✨ Encouraging everyone to #stayfocused™️🌊 on the mindset shift and choose the best for themselves as part of the Get to the Core process! Stay Tuned🥳
