Cliffside Park

Lovely, spacious sites. Great clean bath houses, play grounds are well kept. A nice hiking trail to a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. We stay here every time we come through the area.

This is a simple, quiet campground. There were a number of dogs, so there was an occasional bark, but I didnt hear anyone's loud music! The park paths were maintained and the lake view is beautiful.

Its a 5 from me for sure. Couple things to know though If you are a fishing trip person and come in late at night you MUST be quiet. You can hear a pin drop here on weekdays after 10pm. The bathrooms and showers are always clean. Be respectful to those around you and you will be respected If someone doesn’t shoot that rooster that wakes everybody up at 6am I might be roasting it over the fire next time im there. Just kidding, but seriously.. its annoying.

Great location Spacious campsites Many near by attractions The negative for us is there was a big baseball tournament the weekend we stayed. This created a lot of traffic in and out. Every morning there was garbage everywhere and many campers played loud music at night. We will stay here again but I will look ahead to see what events will take place and when in this park.

This campground is a hidden gem. Large lots, quiet at night, and close to downtown Milwaukee, Windpoint lighthouse, and other fun areas. The bathrooms were always clean. The only thing I see as being a possible issue when it's busy/full is there are only 2 showers for each women's/men's bathroom. We would definitely stay here again!
