Awesome park in a quiet area. We stayed in their cabins for 2 nights and our children had a blast watching the wildlife in the pond, playing at the playground, and running with our dog at the dog park. The cabin was very clean when we got there and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely be planning another trip here again soon!
Thousand trails Lake Minden. We come here often as it's in our circle of camp grounds we make much use of. While it's not my favorite for one big reason Mosquitoes, I happen to be a magnet for the things! Ruins many a fun time That being said, don't let that be a reason not to enjoy a stay there. The sites in A section are a bit tite but sites in D section are roomy enough and shady in the spring and summer. Restrooms are always clean with decent showers. There is a small laundry facility on site. I'm not a fan of the lake but it's pretty to look at. What has set Lake Minden apart for us is the staff. We have had a run of bad luck the last 6 months. They have happily allowed us to leave our trailer during an emergency, shifted sites for my husband to easily access the showers, changed up reservations on the fly. Office staff and rangers are top notch and very appreciated. In my opinion, service makes a huge difference in how I view a park. A stay here is always peaceful and zero hassles. Except. Mosquito devils... But they are everywhere, right? Lol
Thousand Trails Lake Minden is truly a hidden gem for anyone looking to camp, relax, and reconnect with nature. The lakefront views are beautiful, the grounds are well-maintained, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it easy to unwind. Whether you’re staying in an RV, tent camping, or just visiting for the day, the scenery and serenity here are hard to beat. What really sets Lake Minden apart is the staff. Every team member I’ve encountered has been kind, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. You can tell they care about the park and the people who visit it. Their friendliness and helpfulness create a welcoming environment that makes you want to come back again and again. If you're looking for a great camping spot with wonderful staff and a relaxing lakeside setting, Lake Minden is definitely the place to be.

We always have a wonderful stay at Thousand Trails Lake Minden! This park is incredibly family- and kid-friendly, which made our stay even better. The playground and mini golf were big hits, and it was so nice having safe spaces where the kids could play outside freely without us constantly worrying. The lake adds a peaceful, relaxing feel to the campground, and the grounds are well maintained and clean. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. It’s a great place for families, especially those traveling with kids, as well as long-term RVers looking for a comfortable and safe environment. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!
