Dongara Denison Beach Holiday Park

Great spot, lovely beach right in front, nice grassed area. We were in a 3 bed delux beachhouse and it was fine. We were blessed with perfect weather while there. Worth the walk to Southerlys tavern for a drink or a meal. Plenty of BBQ's and check in was easy.

Spent 6 nights in this caravan park and highly recommend to fellow travellers. We were located in an ensuite site, just metres from the waterfront and a swimming beach. This park is easy walking distance to the tavern and bottle shop, as well as, a sunset stroll to the ANZAC memorial. Management were very welcoming and hosted a Thursday afternoon gathering in the camp kitchen. Nibbles provided, with BYO drinks. The park is very well maintained and facilities are very clean. We shall return.

My husband and I spent two nights here and absolutely loved our stay. We booked the room "Superior Waterfront Chalet" and it didn't disappoint!! The beach was right outside our door, with the beautiful sound from the waves and the stunning sunsets. We didn't even sleep in bed we slept on the couch (not planned) with the door open a bit to hear the waves and instantly fell asleep. Everyone was so friendly! We loved every moment of our time here and will definitely be visiting Dongara again and stay here.

Great place to stay, powered caravan sites are large and easy to reverse in to. The whole park and the facilities are very, very clean and well maintained. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. You get to meet some friendly faces at the get together on a Thursday night, which is organised by the owners with nibbles provided. Sunday morning pancakes are pretty good too!! We enjoyed our 4 nights stay so much that we have re-booked for a couple of nights on our way back to Perth in a couple of months!! Di and Greg

Absolutely amazing place, the owners are so friendly and welcoming plus down to earth. We had a powered site with an ensuite - very clean and tidy. We was only staying for one night but opted to stay a second night and then decided to extend our stay for a third night. Australia Day the owners, Maria and Brian, supplied snags bread for a sausage sizzle for tea - bloody beautiful and thank you so much. It’s safe to say that I/we will be returning again for sure. Great spot for a holiday with family, girls trip or boys trip or just as a couple or solo.
