Basic little campground. Clean and quiet, the traffic on the highway gets light after 10:00. Off leash dog park at the municipal park nearby. KVR railway walking and cycling tail across the creek beside the park.Be sure to check out the Japanese Interpretative centre located beside the park. When we visited the caretaker of the centre was working there and spoke with us and gave some background stories about the town. Told us he was interred there with his parents during WWII. Very interesting main street as well, the courthouse and museum are worth a visit. The courthouse tour is very interesting. Be sure to take the trip up to see the smoke stack from the old smelter site and take a walk on the slag heap.
Well equipped, small campground residing beside a stream. No tree cover, no privacy. Kinda RV specific.
The worst campground ever. Checked in 28 june the guy on duty was really rude. In the starting he said us that u can do bornfire after 10 but dont make noise. When we started, he continuosly kept an eye on us and at last said enough is enough go to your bed. He was like i can here u guys till my RV but i m shocked bcs even we were not able to listen our own voice… such a liar!!!! On top of all he was off duty dont know what was his problem..
All services available for a reasonable price. Surprisingly quiet given its highway side location. Only 10 sites, but lots of room for our off season visit. Level gravel site next to walking trails. Very close to, or perhaps part of the Kettle Valley Railway trail system? A short walk to Greenwood City, Canada's smallest city. Many places were closed on a Tuesday morning, but those that were open, the Visitor Centre and the Body, Mind clothing store, were excellent. We plan to stop here again.
A nice little municipal campground in the smallest incorporated city in Canada. There are 10 full-service sites. An interesting town to visit on the Crowsnest highway. Though the park is on the main road through town, it was a quiet location for the night we spent there.
