Booked a room here on way up to Lismore for a furniture removal job. I booked a while in advance and rang several times during the afternoon as I would be arriving late. They never answered the phone nor responded to my phone message. As a result I had to find alternative accommodation at short notice which after a full day of truck driving is not ideal. Still yet to hear back from them over a month later.
THIS IS NOT EVEN WORTH 1 STAR I arrived late last night from a 7 hour trip, I did not feel safe as soon as I pulled up old men were eyeing me down and watching my every move as I was alone and I’m only 24 years of age which made me so uncomfortable I had to rush to the room but also the room was not clean at all still had rubbish in the bin, the bed was not made or sheets and blankets was not washed as there were a lot of stains! Dirty towels on the floor and hanging up it really made me feel sick I could not even eat my food what I’ve bought! I did not stay for longer then 20 minutes it made me sick I had to sleep in my car! I also did not get a proper response back so unprofessional, waste of my time and money. This is not worth $99
I was very disappointed with the cabin we stayed in. We had a small dog and were charged a service fee of $30.00. The chairs had dog hair on them, cobwebs and dog biscuits under chairs. Ants in the kitchen cupboards. I wouldn't stay there again. Blinds were broken, curtains hanging by a couple of hooks. Mold in the ceiling of main bedroom. The microwave had to be cleaned before use. Hot water and pressure was good in shower.
Not clean I stayed the night in a motel room. I don't need much, just a room to sleep. However there were long black hairs all over the bathroom (I don't have long black hair). The floor was also dirty. I felt really ick staying here. The motel room I was in (3) is also right next to the toilet block, so you get the added bonus of listening to everyone coming and going from there through the night. Sounds from the reviews like the workers cabins would have been a better option.
I needed somewhere to spend one night while travelling from the NSW South Coast and into QLD. I booked the cheapest room here and wasn’t expecting much, but this was a great place. The lady who checked me in was cheerful and helpfully marked a map to get to my room. The park is well-signed, easy to navigate, and has spacious car parks. The room itself was basic, but it was neat and clean, and perfect for the price. A king single bed, private bathroom, and a way to make a simple meal was all that I needed. The bed was completely fine for one night, and there was ample linen, pillows, and a spare blanket provided. A small fridge was included as per their photos, as well as suitable appliances to heat up my dinner and then make breakfast & coffee in the morning. I could hear that I had neighbours, but the noise certainly wasn’t excessive. Tea, coffee, sugar, and milk are included. They provided crockery and cutlery, and even supplies to wash up & dry these. If I had to find a single thing to improve, it would be that a teaspoon & butter knife would have been helpful, but it was such a non-issue for one night. Some people have reported issues with the wifi, and the staff member in the office said it can be patchy out at the workers rooms where I was. I just used my phone & it’s hotspot so I can’t comment on this - I had full 5G reception and so I didn’t bother. I would happily recommend this place for anyone passing through, and the only reason that I won’t be back on my next trip is that I’ll have my (medium sized) dog with me, who is larger than they permit here.
