Carthage Gap RV Park

Did have to mail them a check to hold our reservation but that did not impact our stay. Narrow, one lane road in and out with a gravel incline on enter. Check in office on right. The first section appears to be long term. To reach the second section you drive down a shaded lane known as "Shady Land". All of the perimeter sites were occupied and those were semi-permanent. There are a number of back in and pull through interior sites. All are gravel with full hookups. There is a bathhouse with showers in the first section but in the second there are only toilets. There is Starlink provided WIFI. We were guided to our site by the owner. None of the interior sites have shade but each has a picnic table. OK for a single night stay.

Excellent campground! Centrally located for bikers to do the windy9. Thresa and Chris are awesome hosts. We were even invited to their bimonthly soup bean potluck! Was yummy! Oh ya the ice cream truck even came through!! Check out the GoMart food it was awesome!!

Teresa and Chris are wonderful hosts. The campground is peaceful and absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well kept and there's no loud music aloud after hours, which is great for us. Everyone here is welcoming and so friendly. We'll be here a while longer, so happy to have a safe and homey place to park our home away from home. Spacious, level parking spaces with lush green grass. All the amenities you'd expect- sewer, water, power, playgrounds, and bath house. Park is very well-maintained. The owner was friendly and guided me into my space. Other campers are respectful and quiet. It really feels like you're in a secret oasis in the woods. We didn't want to leave! This place is a gem worth the drive.

Clean Campground service is excellent.the..the owners make you feel like family .
