The coolest place to go with the family. Reenactment of legendary Wild West events. The staff are authentic and probably really love what they do on a daily basis. The Native American shows are awesome and there are many opportunities to get the kids involved in the fun, especially towards the later afternoon when they learn to become real cowboys. I came here as a kid and now I get the chance to bring my kids to experience this wonderful place. I’ll be back in a couple of years as they get older and relive our experiences again.
This campground has so much to offer and the views by the water are beautiful but it is a VERY busy campground with non stop golf carts and bikes going up and down the roads. I would be nervous about letting my kids ride around on their own. Having access to the water park, pool and shows at the frontier town were very cool and our camper site in the T row was very spacious. I recommend this camp ground if you’re looking for things to do at your campsite but don’t book it if you’re looking for calm and quiet.
We had a great time. The staff was friendly. The bathhouses were clean. The laundry room was accessible and the laundry app was great. The campsite was clean and spacious. The water park was fun. The lifeguards could be on their phones and flirting with each other less. I know it's the parents' responsibility to watch their kids, but with so many people, it's nice to have an extra set of eyes. Frontiertown was a fun experience. And the dock was a fun fishing experience! Overall had a great time. We will be back next year!
We rented an RV that is on property (AA03), and it had wonderful views and in a quietier section on the campground since it's towards the back. There are a lot of on-site things to do for all ages. The free access to the waterpark is a definite bonus. Also the staff is very friendly. I loved the access to grocery stores and to the OC Boardwalk either driving or by catching the free shuttle. Things that could make it even better...another dog park towards the back of the campground. There are not enough outlets in the RV rentals. If it rains, many sites had a lot of standing water/flooded. Be aware that there isn't much diversity here as there are at other campgrounds we have camped at, but Sun Outdoors can't control that. Would I camp here again? Absolutely!
The authentic native American show is a must see. The family that runs it has a long line of family members that have been a part of ocean City and Frontier Town going back to at least the early 80s. They're wonderful and nice people that hand make their own art and jewelry for sale. I love coming here every chance I get. The rest of the park is great too, and the price of admission is free. Take the family, it's worth it!
