Our entire stay we felt very welcome, like we were part of the family. We met some amazing people from staff to other guests. Our Atv adventure was amazing and fun. Paul and Ruth made us some delicious moose sausages and burgers over a beach fire and told us story’s of the history around the area and how they built the trails. Well worth the drive. We wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely go back.

A highlight of our trip to Newfoundland was staying at Pirates Haven and having a custom ATV tour with the owners. It was so much fun, the views were fantastic and the beach lunch was delicious. We stayed in a glamping unit that was spacious, clean, with a comfortable king bed and had absolutely everything we needed and more. The food at the Longhouse on-site was delicious and we were lucky enough to be there for the Crab Festival! We felt so welcome and they truly cared that we had a good experience and we certainly did. Highly recommend Pirates Haven!!

This place is a 10 out of 10. Right off the railbed trail, nice glamping cabins, and the food, well. We ate supper one night and breakfast the next morning. Ruth in the longhouse was the friendliest woman ever. Remembered our names at both meals, made us feel like family. Even had seating ready for us beside the woodstove for breakfast when we got there. It was pretty cold the previous night. The food was the best, literally home cooked meals. I don't know the lady in the kitchen, but well done!!!!

We did a cross Newfoundland ATV trip this year and this place was Gem. Easy access from the trails, great accommodation and a restaurant. We stayed in both the chalets and glamping units and they both were fantastic. Ruth and staff were so welcoming and friendly. See you next year!
