We stayed during the week in a pet friendly cabin. No ensuite but was close to the toilet block. Small basic cabins. Very clean and neat park, quiet too. It was great to have a small fenced area for the dogs.
We stayed here for one night and overall found it to be very clean, tidy, and well maintained. This campsite overlooks the lake which is a bonus. The site is barricaded and access to the facilities is coded which feels really safe and secure. We booked a powered site, however it ended up being of no use to us as we didn’t have a power cable, and unfortunately the office did not have any spare cables available. There is no WiFi either. There power in the kitchen/ lounge area where you can charge your electronics, There is laundrette, ironing board, snack & drinks vending machines on site . A cafe is conveniently located outside the site. Meninges town is a short away. The camp kitchen is very well equipped, with a BBQs, kettle, toaster, washing-up liquid, scourer, cloth and paper towels provided. They also provide baking paper for the BBQ which a great idea as cleaning is so much easier. They recycle everything which fantastic. The bathrooms look like it is newly renovated, very clean and includes towel hooks and a powerful shower. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay.
Nice park, absolute lakefront. But the only park where I have ever been charged ($3) above the tariff for a key. I assume this is the gate and toilet code, but with automatic check in, I'm not sure.
Great park that makes the most of the location. Luscious grass all year around. Large and well equipped camp kitchen. Book early in peak times to not miss out. Loss of repeat/regular guests every year.
The location of this caravan park is fantastic - on the lake's edge, near a great eatery, and close to town and the Coorong. I was not a fan of the automated check in. I do like to meet the people who manage where I'm staying. The pelicans that live on the lake here were beautiful.
