This was a cool RV park right on the river. The office gal was super attentive and had great follow through! The proximity to the river is its charm and the barges that pass are endless! Very cool! The laundry machines are free and they were new… bonus! We enjoyed our time. I like to walk our dog and there was ample room around all the loops to get our 3-4 miles in. Attaching some pics … some cool tree forts onsite too… not sure they are accessible. We enjoyed our stay, everything in our site worked just fine. Another bonus is that the Big River Trail is nearby and while we didn’t get a chance to explore on our bikes, it’s something worth noting.
This place is BEAUTIFUL and we really enjoyed our stay here! We stayed for like a week or so and it was great we were right next to the Mississippi River, got to walk the dogs next to it every day. Laundry was FREE but you have to walk it upstairs! At the time we visited (around new years 2026) there was only one bathroom and shower available and the shower was nice and clean and nice hot water. The lady there was so nice and knowledgeable I enjoyed talking with her everytime I did! There were some days the weather was bad and even then we still enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and peaceful. We just really enjoyed it and fully recommend staying here!!!
Decent RV campground for an overnight stopover in December. We were able to make a reservation while en route. We were right on the Mississippi river in a spacious pull through site. It was supposed to be concrete, but was in pretty rough shape. Even so, it was fairly level. The entrance was run down and the sign was in great need of some TLC. It was fun watching the barges go by and we saw the most beautiful sunset. Wifi was non functional, but it was not a big deal since t mobile worked just fine for connectivity. We were able to pick up a few decent TV stations. Overall, it's a good place to stay for an overnight stop with nearby gas/diesel.
First, what a view! We stopped for only one night during the low season. The woman in the office was super friendly and helpful. Very close to Memphis👍. Great for walking dogs. Didn’t see a playground for kids. Bathrooms were clean and warm. The 2 bathrooms in our section had combined toilet and shower in each. Laundry facilities available.
This is a very nice place with a scenic view of the Mississippi. The staff was very polite and we were grateful to have a concrete pad right there on the river. The sites are spacious with power, water, and sewer. The only downside, and it's minor, is the bath house. It was in desperate need of updating and cleaning. I know most people use the shower in their camper. Unfortunately I feel like Buddy the Elf in our Sprinter chassis shower so I value a nice clean full size shower option. If that were a non-issue, I would give this place five stars all day.
