December 17th Walking early in the camp this morning, the Christmas lights all around the camp looked so festive. We have simple decorations of porches & decks decked in lights and trees providing white glistening lights. The lake reflects the headlights coming across the bridge with beams of blue lights at times. You can feel the burr of the cold winds , its exhilarating, breathe fresh air in. Merry Christmas Thanksgiving Hello isn't it wonderful to have our roads open. I would like to thank Jolene & Chris for their future outlook to keep this cozy little camp a family friendly atmosphere. May God bless each of you with warm homes/ campers, delicious food and family and friends. I want to thank Michael Bearden for his work within the park and helping others . God bless you everyone. November 2025 Hi everyone The road construction is almost finished. The paved roads is so nice. Its a bit of a safety issue going out of the park at the angle construction put in. I hope they attend to this. The bridge is completed almost as well. The white rocks cast a picture of sleekness. I will miss the foliage and trees that were there. I enjoyed seeing through the camera's eye the lake through the tree branches. We had minimal boat activity this summer because 300 rd was closed and other bridge and road projects going on in Rogers county. Sadly Winganon Bait Store is closed until springtime per Bailey Bible. He was such a help to those in the area especially the RV parks. I will miss him. To those who want to reach out to Rogers county there's a tracker page to leave your thoughts, compliments or concerns. Hopefully by next spring and summer the lake will be seeing all the boating, swimmers, from around here. Its a great place. The owners are kind people . The Bait Store will re-open. Best bbq and burgers around April 13, 2025 How wonderful to feel spring in the air. The sounds of boats pulling in, oh I do hope the sail boats come early. It's such a joy to get up in the morning to sounds of birds singing. This morning there is a bit of a chill in the air here. I sat out on my deck and enjoyed my coffee, felt the sunshine on my face...a blessing for sure.. I've been here almost 8 years I believe and soon Mike ( our grounds manager) will start the mowing in the park. Time for my mask too lol. If you get a chance drive by see the park, the lake, you might see Randy or one of the other guys out cleaning their catfish haul of the morning. Stay the day, spend the weekend, it's reasonable pricing for extended stays. I've never wasted a day wondering if I made the right choice to settle here after retirement. See ya on the waves Update: It's still the beautiful spot it has been the past 7 yrs. Bridge work has slowed down traffic into towns nearby. It will be really nice when completed on the cross over bridge. I have been educated on the heavy equipment by watching lol. Scary at times. Those men have a tedious job. My neighbor's in the North Camp Terry & Joan hello, great folks. Chris my heart thinks he's wonderful, heading out on a mission purpose for God. God bless him. I hope to have church in the camp this spring if all goes well. I'd love everyone to come. Neighbors close to Chris y'all are cool, love that little dog. Come say hi at my place or church anytime WOW! I've lived at Allen's Point for 6 years. I came as a woman recovering from a stroke and a yr later healed mostly because of the peace the lake brings. Management has been helpful and courteous with any problems I faced. I call the " fish camp" home. I never came here just to visit. Because of God's infinite Grace, we now enjoy Church In the Camp on Thursday twice a month. This wonderful blessing has allowed those who didn't know Christ and those who couldn't attend church due to limitations to sit around a campfire and hears Pastor Wolf read God's word. The lots are maintained year around. It's clean and how wonderful to hear children play and their laughter. I am looking forward to what 2024 brings into the camp.
Always liked Allen's point. Easy to access when the road isn't under repairs. Easy way to fish the middle or upper end of the lake without dealing with the crowds.
Such a great little hide away, always nice and quiet. Family has been coming there for years. The management has done some amazing work in the last year the place looks great. Keep it up and can’t wait to come back.
Grew up here and it has been the place for some of my greatest memories. The park is on the older side but the new management is in the process of updating and upgrading. The best part of this place is the location. It is right on the lake so it’s literally a walk down a hill and to the water. Great fishing and beautiful sunsets. Definitely a good place to visit.
Love this place!! Beautiful sunrises over the lake!! Wildlife abundant! Quiet RV park, good fishing, friendly folks!!
