Wangaratta Caravan Park

Wonderful stay. Very clean, very modern site with big pool and friendly staff. Quiet but also walkable to beach, golf and a pub and bottle shop. Only two tiny things I would change is the ability to take the dog to the communal bench area (we were in a tent so always had to have one of us with the dog vs tie her up while we cooked), and the shower heads. We will definitely be back though!

This was a great find in Bowen. I did a walk in booking this week and found the lady on reception friendly, smiling and helpful. The park was quiet as it’s a few weeks before the holiday rush. So there were plenty of shaded sites to choose from. Even though I had a camper trailer I found the sites were spacious and plenty of room to park the car. The park and amenities were nice and clean. I’ll definitely be back.

This camp was a pleasent surprise. Well equipped and maintained. The only thing I can point out is a wery sharp light illuminating the grass area for tents during the night.

We spent a few months here and was absolutely beautiful. Reg and Chantell are amazing, clean amenities, very nice and quiet people in the campsite. Not a place for party backpackers, but the perfect stay for quiet and respectful people. So far our favorite campsite we ever been

Our stay itself would be 5 star but unfortunately it was tainted by a rude lady who verbally abused our children for being ‘too loud’ in the pool at 3pm in the afternoon - there was only 5 children in there and our vans were on the opposite side of the toilet block to the pool and we couldn’t hear them. The kids came to told me and the other mother so we went over to sit and watch. While we were there she didn’t say anything to them, so we left briefly, and near immediately she had another crack at them calling my son a ‘little smart arse’. Then when confronted by us proceeded to tell us that they should be in the pool and not making any noise it is disrespectful if they talk or anything in there (they were the only people in the pool area also) she was the rudest person i have encountered in any of our travels. This van park was great otherwise every other person spoke so nicely and told us how great our kids were and how nice it was to see them playing and chucking a footy etc. Facilities are amazing the shower block near the pool had huge showers and were recently refurbed. well and truly had everything we needed.
