Sutter's Recreation Area

We will be living here seasonal.. when we come back from Florida.. while we see family.. they have swimming, playground, activities, parkwide cookouts (when possible, virus limited things this year) it can be a bit hard to get in, once people find this place they try to make reservations for the next trip, Im already liking this place in the short time we have been here..

This recreation area is so wonderful. Beautiful, quiet and friendly.

Sutter’s campground is a great family owned campground, I’ve been coming here since my kids were 4 & 6 years old, they are now in there 30’s, we absolutely love the swimming pond, weekend activities & friendly face , we definitely will be back, very clean and safe place to camp.

Roads Are bad holes & mud everywhere. Water pressure is badall the time (20 psi) electricity on weekends normally is below 100 volts, No pool small pond to swim in only tested in spring. Free Internet not enough for campground on weekends good luck on using any at all. Was full time for 20+ years cost has doubled and go up every year. Now owner has canceled my reservation for the month of July. Anything I said not the truth?? .

We have been a seasonal camper for many years now. Great family atmosphere. Love our camping family. My kids are allowed to be kids is what I love most. They are out the door first thing in the morning and not back till they are hungry or its getting dark. Just like it was when I was a kid. Everyone looks out for each other. Grounds are kept up very nicely. They have activates for the kids almost every weekend. My only con's are the internet is not the greatest and we wish there was 50 amp service. Other then that its a great place!
