Usk/terrace Skeena RV Park

This park is a nice and the site we were given was spacious. The problem I encountered is that on the website it clearly states that riverside campsites are $40.00 and non river campsites are $35.00. We used the website to make contact with Ross, the owner. He called and confirmed a non river site for us for 3 nights. When we arrived and had parked, Ross told us we owed 150.00 for the 3 nights! I was puzzled but paid the amount. The next day I asked about the discrepancy in price, fully expecting to have paid $105.00 instead of $150.00. I was given a story about how someone had hacked into his website (the one he used to get my information) and that "they" changed the prices and that he could not figure out how to change his own site. He also mentioned that it was "high season" (middle of September) which was why he charged more. His story did not seem truthful but I chose not to press any further. The morning we were ready to leave, Ross came to me and offered to pay back the extra money he charged me, saying that he didn't want to have a bad review written. I said that I would accept his gesture. He then gave me $30.00, which was still $15.00 short of what I should have been given. Had the $45.00 overcharge been totally paid back, I probably would not be writing this review. Moral of the story, confirm that you will be charged the advertised price on the website. In Canada there is a law that states that all advertised prices are to be honored, even if they are not posted correctly.

the grounds are clean and washrooms could use a dusting, but everything works as it should. Ross is an outstanding grounds keeper/owner of the park, an honorary member of The Boys to me and Tyler who stayed on and off for a week in the area. We tried other campsites in the vast surrounding and nothing compared to the location and hospitality of Ross, we missed his Saturday evening group fire and its been a regret ever since. I'm headed back there with my wife to show her how amazing it is in northern BC and we will be staying here for sure!! Also, fishing is amazing here. Don't miss out and ask Ross if you need any fishing tips, but more then likely he will be close by fishing with you! 10/10 experience, see ya soon Ross!

The owner Ross is a nice guy and he was very approachable. All in all an OK stay if you just need something for the night. However I can‘t give better rating since the campground is not as it appears on the pictures. The entire area could be a bit more tidy including washing room/ laundry. Wifi connecting was good. The main reason for only two stars is the railway, which is pretty close to the campground. At night I heard the loud horn of the freight train, 5 times through the night it woke me up. Not a relaxing night at all.

A small campground located on the Skeena River. Ross is a super host. Clean baths and laundry. Beautiful sites and a short walk to the river. Salmon jumping! If you're lucky to snag a spot, think about reserving a river site next year! Our 30 foot Airstream fit in perfectly. Love ❤️

We absolutely loved staying at this campground!! Ross was so welcoming and friendly and super helpful with setting up some fishing guides! We felt right at home! The campground is perfect! Very well maintained, private and quiet! We were so impressed and will be planning another trip here next summer! Thanks again for your hospitality Ross!! Top notch guy and campground!
