Wonderful owner. Cannot say enough about him.
Priced right, easy to pull up and plug in. We stayed the weekend before independence day. We got to light off fireworks in the south field. The place could be a little cleaner around the corners, but for full hookups it was more than fair on the price.
Enjoyed our time at this park. The location is so convenient to the towns of Glencoe and Stillwater. It's clean, quiet, level spots are a huge plus, laundry area was clean and so convenient. We were there for a family event. Really made the visit better to have a great space to sleep.
Perfect for the touring bicyclist! Solo person tent rate. Got a hot shower and my laundry done. Supposed to rain tonight and I have nearby cover to pack my stuff in case it's still raining in the morning. Host is very nice. Thanks, Doug!
I lived here for almost 6 months, and I was extremely happy with the park for the first 5 months, but due to a recent management change, I was forced to leave due to a difference of opinion. When I moved in July, the park was being ran by Doug Smith, who throughout my stay helped me with TONS of things that were not required of him as well as what was. I felt like part of a family here and it was a wonderful place to stay. The park was very well kept and maintained, the owner was out every day making sure it was tip top, and also checking on his customers as well, making sure everything was good. You don't get that kind of treatment many places. It was a complete joy. Then the owners got divorced and things took a drastic fall. It is a shame to see such a wonderful place get wrecked so quickly and to be forced to move due to being friends with the husband. Overall the park is a wonderful place, just the new management has created new problems when there were none before. I hope that the owner Doug gets this park back and under his control so that the customers can receive the same treatment I recieved when I moved in. Old Management = 5/5 New Management = 2/5 You do the math.
