Scandia Village

Great place for year round living.

So far so good .we checked out this place 3 months ago and really wanted to move in then, but money was tight and we couldn't do that at that point so once a spot came available last month, we hoped on it right away, and today we moved in, not exactly the place we wanted, we wanted grass and a little bit more room but once a place comes available we have the option to move into it first..It's a more reasonable place to live for cost wise. And it's closer than Prineville for our daughter to finish her Senior year, and closer for the wife to get to work. Looking forward to this next year...

As others have said in the reviews, they are very discriminatory here, and rude about it as well. Called this place nearly daily for 2 weeks before I was able to actually get a hold of someone, and when I did she was extremely dismissive, condescending, and rude. They don't accept vans at all at this place, and offer no explanation whatsoever for this. I have full hookups and every amenity that modern RVs have, but apparently the shape of my vehicle is a deal breaker for this place. If they had at least been polite or helpful I wouldn't have felt inclined to leave this review.

The waiting list to get into thier parks are outrageous. Trying to get someone to answer office phones is next to impossible. The older couple running rhis place are plum burned out of thier jobs and show it. Donot recommend either one of thier parks.

Spent two years here, and it was a great experience. Very accommodating, storage sheds included, lawn maintenance, large lots with grass and sprinklers, and constant improvements. They gave us a heads up when maintaining water lines, and take rent payment over the phone. This is an excellent place for extended RV stays. They don't price gouge in the summer like other parks in Bend do. Neighbors are friendly too, plenty of people regularly walking dogs, and no dog poop. This park is going to be even better when the trees are fully grown.
