We made a very last-minute booking on 25 January after a long drive from Melbourne to Sydney and then heading back toward Darwin. I called late in the afternoon and spoke to who I assume was the owner — she was very easy to talk to on the phone and helped organise everything smoothly. Upon arrival, she greeted us in person and gave clear instructions on how to park at Cabin 4, which made things easy after a long day on the road. We paid $115 for the cabin, and it was honestly really nice. We truly appreciated that she had turned the air conditioning on for us before we arrived — it was scorching hot on the drive, so walking into a cool cabin was such a relief. While the cabin itself is older, all the amenities and furnishings are modern and well maintained. Cabin 4 is perfect for a couple, with a comfortable queen bed and strong air conditioning that blows cool. There’s also easy ramp access to the cabins, which is great if accessibility is a concern. The cabin is well equipped with kitchen supplies for cooking and dining, a working fridge, microwave, and stove/oven. There’s a full living room with a 24” TV (not a smart TV), a proper dining area, and two patios where you can sit and relax. The bed and sofa were both very comfortable. They also provide small soap (no shampoo, which was fine as we had our own), and there’s a common area for campers, as well as a full laundry and toilet facilities on site. Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming stay — especially appreciated when travelling long distances. We’d happily stay again.
Lovely place ❤️ Cabin was lovely and clean .The owner and staff are very helpful and nice 👍 Chinese across the road at Bowling Club is so yummy and delicious 😋 Would difnetley go back again ❤️❤️👍
Units are old but clean tidy and access to bowling club close to town centre
Caretaker not on site and we were told by phone to leave payment in an envelope and find our own way to the cabin. Everything about the cabin was so far from our expectation. Small quantity of stale tea/coffee supplied, bath towels so rough we did not use them and found hair in the shower anyway. Dubious housekeeping! Definitely overpriced for what was on offer. PS…The cabin referred to is #2. At $110.00 for the night I didn’t consider it to be cheap. I will definitely NEVER stay there again and hope no one else gets caught up by her “you get what you pay for” attitude!
Fantastic little park! Shannon, the owner is lovely. She has owned the park almost 2 years. Amenities are immaculate. Dog friendly. Some drive through sites. Well kept grounds. A short walk to town. A top spot.
