Lumber River Campground

My experience has been very giid the 2 times l was there. I'm heading there tomorrow. I found the bathrooms were clean and well kept. I was near the one by the pool so maybe l lucked out. I am a light sleeper and l was surprised that l wasn't woke up because they did have a band playing that night. I didn't go to see the band so ldk what goes on then. I didn't hear anyone with loud music at night either. Hopefully my luck will continue to be good and l will keep having a good experience there. P.S. I don't drink, smoke or party.

Get a cabin and rent golf cart with river pick up. Tent or $20 a person. $80 to rent a cabin. Most electric did work but it's hot. Had fun but got bitten up. Bring your own or rent. Electric by site issued. Not a great tent place unless prepared much

The flotilla was fun UNTIL they allowed ignorant and DRUNK staff members on jet skis to keep an eye out on the safety of floaters, but there’s a sign that says no motor boats during the flotilla? 🤔 We had about 10 people with us floating. We tied off to a sand bar and while tied up, the guy was showing off on his jet ski and lost control and came really close to hitting us, to the point he fell off of it. We had a pregnant woman and an elderly woman with us. This situation was scary and could have been dangerously fatal. I’d rather go somewhere I can trust that my family’s safety will be prioritized.

I think this is a beautiful place. My family and I tent camped here only to find out this is definitely a party spot! The shower house could definitely use lots of work very nasty! The owner is very friendly and helpful! I made a noise complaint about the site next to us partying all night and how my kids could not sleep, but she addressed it and made sure it didn't happen the next night. Beautiful place, but don't think I will be back.

I want to send out a GREAT BIG THANK YOU for allowing us to have my mom’s wedding there. Everyone there was so accommodating to help us out with anything we needed. There’s one guy that is totally nuts that works for the campground named Rick that went above and beyond for us so a HUGE THANK YOU TO RICK!! Williamson bbq catered for the wedding and the food was delicious. It’s a family run business and they treat you like family as well. If you ever want to plan for a great wedding, plan it at the river. Absolutely beautiful and fun place to be for any occasion
