Great place to live or stay at. Office has really friendly kind people who run it.
We have RPI with our 5th wheel and was charged more than anywhere we stayed in Texas, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and the place is not the quality where we have been staying. Pass it up, don't stay here!
I got there before the office posted closing hours but there was no one there to help check me in. Luckily the gate opened and I was able to find a spot, but I wasn't certain that it was the exact spot I had reserved because of the numbering system wasn't perfectly clear. I called the number and sent an email to the address available but didn't hear anything back. Everything worked out fine and I'm sure it was just a snafu of some kind.
A very welcoming and nice place. We arrived minutes from them closing and without a reservation, but they set us up in the great location near the amenities. We also loved the restaurant where we had great delicious food. Truly, Riverland was a great stay! Thank you for caring for these two weary travelers.
I feel like it needs to be said in a review, because I wasn't aware... The river and fishing pond are both DRY. This was a huge disappointment to us, as the website definitely doesn't reflect such. Should we have known? Maybe. 🤷♀️ The on-site restaurant was really great and I would stop by to eat here again, though it closes at 8pm. Restrooms and showers not "5-star hotel" quality, but definitely worked for a nice hot shower. Not terrible for a stopover.
