This facility is lightly used and it’s rare to see 5 or more OHVs there at a time. The OHV park consists of all pretty flat beginner to easy trails. This is a great place to bring new or inexperienced riders. The track is small and like the trails is very much geared for inexperienced riders. Not uncommon to see large side-by-sides or small kids on the track running 5mph or less, so that gives you an idea of the track. Word of caution, this facility is pretty flat and if it’s wet it’s pretty much a mud bog. No running water other than a garden hose type hookup in the campground. Vault style toilets, again no water or hand sinks. No toilets, or water other than the one faucet mentioned, or showers in the campground. Electric site rates are now $15/night at the campground. It’s a fun place to ride when it’s dry and you’re not looking for any challenging terrain, a fast or large track, and don’t require water or shower facilities.

The trails are overgrown with fallen branches and trees in the trails, definitely needs some trail clean up. The low spots and almost every corner are rutted out from the dreaded UTV’s which now creates standing water and mud and it hasn’t rained in awhile. Suppose to be a 15 mile perimeter trail that doesn’t exist! I will say the track was pretty decent and we did have some fun on that until the dreaded UTV thought he was gonna try and flattened all our ruts we had started in the corners. Basically what I am saying is UTV’s suck, get a dirt bike!!! The campground had one tree but the spots were decent overall. We drove two hours down and surely won’t be back.

A lot better than when we where here two years ago. Trails are now marked and for the most part cleaned and maintained very well. I'm sure recent storms and mud are why the trails where overgrown and some trees and sticks where fallen but the day we where there some volunteers where mowing and cleaning up

Enjoyed riding my 4-wheeler around, I was alone so I couldn't get to crazy. The area was dry, plenty of easy riding and well kept. Thanks, I'll be back..

First time going here. Only so many places to ride in iowa. They have a small racetrack type area at the front that is fun for younger riders. You can camp there which is nice. Campground area has few trees so not much in terms of shade on a hot summer day. The trails are mostly down by the river. They all connect which makes it nice in terms of not getting lost. If it rains anytime in the days before you go it will be extremely muddy. If you can't catch this place when its more dry you will have fun.
