Stop here a lot, live 4 miles away. Always grab 2 16oz redbulls because they are 2 for 8. The morning lady has overcharged me everytime this summer, until I bring up the 2 for 8 sign and she gets upset everytime. Says the signs are wrong (they've been there since spring). This morning went in, checked the price on the sign, then went to use the restroom. When I came back she had removed the signs after seeing me. The front door always has a hiring sign and now I see why. Won't be back.

Shout out to the guys working at Cenex on Memorial weekend! The store was PACKED and we were looking to purchase fishing licenses and minnows. There was technical difficulties with the DNR’s computer system and the store associate COULD have told us, “Sorry, I don’t know what to tell you.” There was a LONG line of customers waiting. But instead he said, “How about I call the DNR and find out what’s going on.” He managed to call, while multi-tasking; helping others as we waited for an answer. We were so impressed with the excellent customer service. Especially on one of the busiest days of the year. Eventually we left the store with family fishing licenses and minnows. Thank you Crosslake Cenex!

We were in the area for a family trip this summer and I stopped in and bought a bottle of wine, it was a $10 bottle of wine. Shortly after getting home I looked at my credit card statement only to see I've been charged almost $200.00 for that bottle of wine. Beware of this small town convenience store they rip off their customers. Always pay cash or be sure to get a receipt!

Was at their liquor store attempting to purchase a case of wine to get the normal 10% discount. Jackie was at the register and calculated my 10% discount on $120 to be $1.20 and not $12.00. She argued with me about this and was rude and told me not to waste her time. I requested that she use a calculator to check her math. Once she did that she tried to put the balance she owed me back on my card and failed to do so. I had her refund my purchase entirely. Beware of Jackie.

For many years I have been coming to Moonlite Square from my cabin on West Fox Lake for gas, beer and wine, and to pay for garbage placed in the dumpster. I have always paid the proper amount for the number of bags I put in. I even once returned and paid for a bag that I had forgotten to pay for after filling up with gas. I am 80 years old and have torn rotator cuffs on both arms. A full garbage bag is sometimes too heavy for me to lift so I sometimes have to put extra small kitchen bags in after the half full bag has been placed in the dumpster. Today was such a situation as I added three smaller kitchen bags to the garbage can size bag before closing it. A young man witnessed this and made a scene inside when I offered to pay for a single bag. I was humiliated in front of several other customers when he rudely accused me of putting several bags in. He would not accept my explanation but finally took the money. I understand the difficulty in maintaining a dumpster on the honors system and I have personally witnessed other folks throw a bag in and then drive off without paying, but I felt that the young man's response was rude and inappropriate. I thought you should know that I will now be taking my business elsewhere. Robert Johnson, West Fox Lake
