We went to a public boat ramp. The restrooms are okay, no soap. The actual ramp was nice, plenty of parking.
We stayed here two nights. The park was clean and appeared to be well maintained. The sites were spacious and mostly level. We were here in November and it was very quiet and restful. Will definitely return when I am in the area again. We camped with a 29' TT, space E106.
This is a beautiful campground on Lake O the Pines 15 minutes from Jefferson, TX. It is a Corp of Egineer camp with water, electricity and 2 dump stations although the water at one was not working at the time of our trip in Nov, 2025. We snagged a pull through waterfront site, E110, set up for friends camping with a 100 ft site, 2 tables with fire rings and 2 electric & water hook ups. We noticed there was one other site also set up for friends but were side by side back-in spots. Boat ramps were available in the park with nice areas to leave your vehicle and trailer. No store or other amenities.
Nice campground. Nice facilities but they could be cleaned a little more frequently and thoroughly. We stayed for a week and had a great time. The ants were absolutely awful. We had to go purchase spray and spray daily.
Very nice COE campground right on the lake with boat launch. Campsites are concrete and level and roads in the park are asphalt. Campsites are spacious and have fire pits. We didn't use the restrooms but our friends did and said they are very nice and had showers also.
