Mount Field Campground

Popular Camp ground. No booking,so arrive in the morning to grab a spot as someone leaves. Beautiful hiking on easy well-formed trails close to campground...... gorgeous vegetation, scenery, waterfalls and wildlife.

It's magical and an amazing place to stay. In the middle of the wild life, with a sky full of stars if the weather is clear. Showers (1$) and toilets really convenient. Accessible for 2 wheels drive

Great spot for a camp, I hadn't booked but plenty of sites to choose from for my tent for the night, really enjoyed a hot shower after many days on the track, did some washing and the kitchen amenities were great 👍

Mount Field Campground offered a wonderful escape into nature. The well-maintained facilities and peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing stay. Sites are spacious with good privacy between neighbors. The staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful views and easy access to hiking trails nearby. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality camping experience away from the city.

So happy with this campground. We spent a night before and after hiking in this area. $2 for 4 minute shower. Outside sink for dishes with warm water!! Right on a river. Plenty of camping spots. Sinks in laundry to rinse off dirty gear. $5 wash, $5 dry. You pay at a machine on site so you don't have to rush for office hours.
