Goondiwindi Tourist Park

VERY Disappointed, Expensive Cabin, Receptionist pleasant on arrival. Arrived at the cabin to find it like a furness no air conditioning switched on, and a 38 °C day. The cabin was for 2 couples. The main bed was made, but the 2 single beds were unmade, and the sheets were left on top of the bed. The shared shower and toilet door was faulty and would not close. (Which my husband fixed) No handtowel. Floor fan in the bedroom between the beds facing toward the door, not great on a hot night. Arrived back late after dinner, went to pull the sheets down on the large bed, and found they were covered in brown stains like someone had used them to wipe their bottom. As this was late, we changed the bedding and reported it at checkout. Lady expressed her apologies and said we would get a refund. Contacted them to follow up on the refund, but was told they could only offer a free night's accommodation. This was our last night before returning to Melbourne; a free night is of no use to us. Definitely not customer-friendly. Certainly will not forget our trip to Goondiwindi. I could, but I will not post the disgusting sheet picture.

The park manager Sue and her partner were so accommodating to our request. We were looking for a large grass site with space for our dog 🐕 on a long lead. They out did them self with a fabulous flat spot grassed next to the small camp kitchen beside the billabong. Sunset over the water with the wild geese and pelicans landing and taking off was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed their hospitality and will return again.

Absolute gem, had an ensuite site, very clean, tidy park. Managers friendly, easy to talk to. Pet friendly on leash. Pool was very welcome on hot days and doggo was able to have a dip in the dam that runs alongside the park. Highly recommended 👌

The Cabin was good size, but bed should have been queen size not double, our sleep wasn't good. In future we'll use single and double. Cabin was well equipped.

Nice and quiet, great we could drive our caravan straight through, no backing in. Fantastic amenities, hot water in showers. Just a lovely quality place. Thanks Vaughan and his beautiful Wife for your great service.
