This is the best family. They treat us wonderfully!! Prices are very reasonable. This may be a tiny stretch off the highway but we'll worth traveling into to stay. Rooms are very clean and super spacious. Landlord of property is a great man!!

I cannot say enough about how much I love this place!!! We had our wedding here this past weekend, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We had the wedding package that had the event center Saturday (with the new addition add on), and the rental house from Friday at noon till Sunday at 3pm. We also had booked out the entire motel, and it couldn’t have been better for our bridal party, guests, and out of town family! The event center is beautifully remodeled with a stunning bridal suite. The rental house is also recently remodeled and it is gorgeous (photos don’t do it justice)! And the amazing family that owns and runs this venue is a dream to work with! I kept changing my mind about decorations, tables, etc and they rolled with the punches! Sweetest, most caring, and efficient people to work with!! If you’re planning a wedding in South Dakota, this is it!!

A pretty decent group of us spent the weekend here we brought in several campers. For my self I can do sat I enjoyed my time here. It absolutely worked out perfectly. Very cost friendly close to town for those forgotten items. The owner Tom was fantastic. A couple of us got to tour his new addition to the business. Can't wait to see it fully finished as he is doing his construction himself. Only change I would love to see would be a storm shelter/ Bath house type building. I think it would be very beneficial for his even center. Hope to be back next year chilling and relaxing here

We stayed in the campground portion of the property in a 30ft travel trailer. The campground was tidy, quiet and we had full hook-ups. Originally we had a reservation at a campground closer to the highway, but they didn't have a spot for us upon arrival. We called Gate City and were given directions to their location. 15 minutes after our call, we were welcomed by the manager and situated on a site. After 9 hours on the road, it was so nice to encounter a friendly, helpful face and simple solution to our reservation issue. Thanks Gate City staff!
