Great place and people... small and comfortable... quite... close to Inverness, Lake Panasoffkee, Wildwood... All within 12 minutes from the Resort... Very Nice, Peaceful...⭐️😊🏁✅️

We’ve stayed at Thousand Palms RV Resort for two separate week-long trips, and it’s been a great experience both times. It’s a nice, developing park with a very friendly community feel. Everyone we met was welcoming, and the overall vibe is relaxed and homey. The bathrooms are well kept and honestly pretty cute, though the showers did take quite a while to heat up. The clubhouse is really nice and has plenty to do — puzzles, a piano, ping pong, and more. There’s also mini golf, a tennis boutique, basketball, shuffleboard, and other activities to enjoy. On our first trip, we went out on an airboat with Wild Bill’s Airboat Rides — it was an amazing experience and definitely a highlight! Our first campsite was very sandy, which made for a bit of a mess, but the second site we had was spacious and much nicer. There’s a pool on-site, though we didn’t get a chance to go in. There’s also a boat ramp right by the exit that’s quiet and peaceful. Overall, it’s a great place to stay with lots of activities and a strong sense of community.

Stopped here on my motorcycle a few weeks ago making plans for a cycling trip. Was told by an employee that they always have room for tents. No reservation needed. Now that I peddled all the way here they say no tent camping. Thanks for starting my trip on a sour note. Horrible people. Never answer the phone and never returned any of my calls.

Staff is very friendly. The site we had was very nice and spacious. We feel more attention should be given to the size of the camper that is going into the site. We had difficulty backing into the site because of the space. It appeared there were several other sites that were empty that would have been more suitable for our motorhome. There is no camp store for ice or essentials and the only wifi was in the clubhouse. The laundry facility was OK. Had 3 washers and 3 dryers. The baskets you put your clean laundry in were not real clean and a nit rusty. All in all, we enjoyed our stay here, would just like to pass on some information that would make it more enjoyable .
