Another great state park. We stayed here for several days in one of their 4 cabins. Beautiful views, well-maintained park, w/friendly staff. We stayed mid-September, so the pool & nature center were already closed for the season (bummer on the Nature Center). There is no official lake-access swimming, but it seems folks do swim by the ledges out on the trail past the nature center. Nice trails & playground area for kids. Bathrooms were well kept. Most of the campsites are in an open area, with little shade, so I definitely recommend planning for that accordingly.

Beautiful campground, right on the lake. A bit of a drive for kayak access but there is a path to the beach. There is a pool but that's only open in the summer. Large campsites, quite level. Like all VT state parks, no hookups.

Button Bay is a lovely park. For my not my first choice to camp at the sites are quite open in the one loop but flat so probably better for small rv's. Though I don't prefer the layout myself the sites were very clean and well maintained park. This is a great family park as it has a very cool nature center, playground AND the only VT state park with a pool. Easy to walk throughout the park as well with a walking trail between camping loops and day use area. Really lovely walk out to the point and easily accessible.

It was a really good experience. We booked a cabin. It was facing the lake. The cabin was clean. The view was beautiful and mesmerizing. You could see the lake and the mountains behind it. The facilities were clean and near. The office had fire wood and ice available. They had a very good playground for kids. The hike to Button Bay point was beautiful and super easy, my kids enjoyed it and were able to do it easily. The view from the button Bay point was very beautiful. We were able to catch the sunset

We were at the park for a Shape-Note singing in their large pavilion. The park seemed well run and was a lovely spot to gather to sing. We walked out to the point for picturesque view of the lake. Nearby families were having fun at the pool. The washrooms were clean. Several of the singers were camping there and it sounded like they had good experiences.
