Cape Tribulation Camping

We want to say a huge thank you to Jackie the campsite owner/manager for being absolutely amazing in helping us get out of the Daintree during the river flooding that disrupted the car ferry. She was informative and very considerate, managing to get us on passenger boat the very next morning. Definitely went above and beyond to help us. The campsite itself is spacious, has beautiful scenery right by the beach, modern facilities and a lovely pizza bar on site. A great stay if you’re up in Cape Trib. We’ll be back again but in the dry season this time! 😀

Visited from a neighbouring campsite ( which left a lot to be desired for the same price). I was warmly welcomed, ordered a delicious wood fired pizza, and admired the campsites from the shaded veranda. Free wifi for visitors. Large, treed, beachfront campsites. Can’t comment on washroom or camp kitchen, but the dining area was clean and classy, so I can only imagine the same from shared facilities. So I did wander through the camp kitchen and bathrooms. Fully stocked, modern, and soooooo clean! I haven’t even stayed here and I recommend you do! Very friendly, safe, community vibes!

Good camping very quiet and foots from the beach. There is no pool. I don’t know why there is some pictures of it. You can’t swim in the sea because of crocodiles. The restaurant seems lovely. Amenities were very clean and well maintained. Showers were hot and perfect. Would recommend and go back.

Amazing campground. We were in the premium beach site and it was really lovely. Spacious, private site with own walkway to the beach. Sandbar restaurant makes incredible woodfire pizzas and they also do the yummiest chips ( which we had with a great chicken parmi on one of our nights). Amenities were very clean and modern.

Such a great campground, worth paying the extra for the premium powered sites, excellent amenities, and the pizza's are every bit as good as everyone says. Would definitely stay again.
