This place is amazing very well kept place. Very friendly people. The sites are very big and surrounded by trees. Very peaceful and quiet place as well. If I have work in the area I will 💯 be back.
This campground is well maintained. Jay, their maintenance person wss amazing kept the grounds meticulous As well as kept our lot tidy and the grass cut. We asked for a fire pit for our lot and he had it there in no time. he was very friendly as well. Jay and the owners were very friendly and accommodating, made sure we had anything we needed. Would highly recommend Northwood acres.
I had zero issues here. It's very quiet and peaceful, owners were accommodating in my schedule for leaving as I had paid for a month and got told the next day the job was being cut short and we were leaving in a week. Huge spots with many trees around. The only thing I didn't care for was the gravel road to get there. If I'm back in Edson for work I will be returning. I did not use the laundry or washrooms so I can't comment on that, fire pit is small (old brake drum off a semi) and wifi was ok.... Some evenings I had issues, but I have unlimited data so I'd just hotspot. No big deal. For the monthly rate it works out to about $32/day. Reasonably priced.
This is a beautiful spot. The owners are welcoming and accommodating. The property is meticulously maintained. It is quiet, and well treed. Wifi was reliable. The proximity to Edson is very convenient. We highly recommended Northwood Acres.
Owners are nice & friendly. Nice & secluded & feel safe here. Our boss had reserved the only 3 sites that were available & the night before they arrived they had put someone else in 1 of the sites that had been reserved. Laundry is too expensive for the size of the washer & it stinks like sewer. Dogs only barked once late in the evening, in the month we stayed here. Usually at campgrounds dogs have to be on a leash but the owners dogs roamed around freely & peed on our propane tank & saw them peeing against others rv blockings, trucks & other belongings. One even pooped on our boss’ rv matt & the boss’ wife confronted the owner & the owner just told her to clean it up (it should be the dogs owner’s responsibility to clean up after their dogs) Fire pits are too small & don’t have any holes for the fire to get air to actually burn nicely & have to pay for firewood that’s rotten.
