I was in the area for pheasant hunting and needed a simple, quick place to stay with my truck tent. The Limon KOA was the perfect solution. The price was exactly what I was looking for—a really great value for a clean and reliable spot to camp. One of the best parts was its location. It's super convenient and close to local restaurants, which made grabbing dinner after a long day really easy. For anyone needing a practical and affordable base camp for hunting or just passing through, this KOA is a fantastic choice.
stayed at the place once hub connected my locusthopper and had to jet Kelly at drill head spun the collar and stuck the bit.. what night to lack the appropriate power to pull out the well head was abandoned home on we set to a nestination. Ruffer Than necks red pump sump gump it's a gamble fourth sure in life currently well good in place commons
We pulled in at 4:00 pm and the office was already closed. We pulled into our extremely small site. The sewer, placed right were we needed to park, made it hard to park. The sewer cap was off and stunk like crazy. We had a million flies. I killed a hundred flies that night and we still had their flies for thousands of miles. We needed propane but there was never anyone there. We called and got no answer. It seems like they don't want your business. THE worst service ever. We will not be back.
I spent the night at this campground during my cross-country drive. I had three small dogs with me and I was towing a trailer so for several reasons, staying at a conventional hotel was not going to work for me. KOA campgrounds provided the solution with inexpensive, basic cabin housing all along my route I arrived after the office closed so I picked-up my info packet at the office window, found my cabin, and parked. The cabin was perfect for me and my dogs. The campground was quiet and well kept The washroom was clean and just a little time-worn but otherwise more than fine If I was traveling I-70 again I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again
Needed a convenient place to stay for one night, and this was a great spot. The park is showing it's age and it definitely needs some maintenance, but the sights were level long enough for a motorhome towing a Jeep. Huge dog park. Service was excellent. Very clean pool and a playground. Didn't use the restrooms. Would stay here again.
