It's on free camping site. Knowing it wasn't and found advertised for $8 a night unpowered. Thought great headed there she said unpowered site was $42. No wonder there was only 2 vans parked up. Need to advertise on appropriate sites and with real prices. Wasn't helpful when asked for alternatives.
We stayed here for 2 nights in our camper trailer. The view from our powered site was beautiful but walking 100 metres one way for the toilets and then 100 metres the other way for the showers??? Three toilets and three showers (and one of them didn't work)? How does this work if it's really busy? I also noticed that both blocks were not cleaned while we were there. The showers had buttons to push to get 4 minutes of hot water, these were OUTSIDE the cubicles and took 2 minutes for the water to heat up! The young woman who booked us in was very nice and said that the park had very strange facilities and they were trying to improve them; the camp kitchen was in the area where most people had self contained vehicles so didn't even use the amenities and it was nowhere near the tent areas or the unpowered sites. She said we could move if it wasn't suitable, but who wants to put up a camper trailer and then put it down, move it and then put it back up? If it was say $30 a night maybe , but $50 a night? absolutely ridiculous and far too expensive. A good view is not worth $50 a night if the facilities are poor.
Very pleasant, easy access to beach for walks, good facilities
Awesome facilities very easy to camp not too crowded and a fair price.
Beautiful outlook but limited access to showers with a huge walk at least 400 metres. Friendly staff
