Trailer Island Campground

Lake seems all fished out. Campground isn't really a campground. It's more like a 80's trailer park. A few years ago there was a black bear sighting near the dumpsters. How exciting.

The owner was abusive and offensive to my 13 year old son and I he seems very angry and I would not trust him around young kids.

I've had my trailer at what is now called 'Island Park' for 4 years. It has recently come under the ownership and management of the son of the original owners. He has made many improvements and keeps up the property to a good standard. It may not be for everyone, those seeking 'amenities' should look elsewhere. We, however, really enjoy the privacy, quiet and funky friendly 'neighborhood'. It's exactly what we want and will continue to enjoy every season.

Unless you want a seasonal site surrounded by cattails on a dead end road pass it by.20 trailers on 1acre, no amenities.

This is not a campground. They charge you money for amenities that may have been functional but still terrible 20 years ago but are now disgusting.
