Plenty of room for trucks of all sizes including road trains as it's bigger than most rest areas. Has toilets undercover tables and chairs Had a chat to a lovely older couple travelling from Adelaide to Brisbane towing a caravan with a 1931 Ford Victoria
Large flat area to park. Some tables and chairs. Very popular with travelling public and semi's. Everyone got on fine the night we were here. Garbage bins available. The only thing that let it down was the toilets 🚻. They were quite dirty and looked like it had been a while since they had a good clean.
Large shady area to stop for a power nap. The usual toilets and picnic area. Set back from the road a bit, with an area of trees separating the rest area from the highway. LOTS OF MOZZIES
Filthy, filthy, filthy toilets and filthy unkempt bins. Nice place to rest if you are self sufficient and can bypass the facilities. Council definitely not maintaining area as would be expected.
Large bitumened area, but also used as a rest area by large trucks, so best for caravanners to get off the bitumen if possible. There is space for about 6 vans off the bitumen area. Rubbish bins and picnic tables available. Unfortunately, toilet is still closed. The highway is busy with large trucks, so a bit of noise through the night, but not enough to stop an innocent person from getting a good sleep.
